Community Healing

Coming together to heal as a community means:

Support within your reach

A circle of people around you to witness what you’re facing with compassion

Encouragement for the changes you are making

Setting a sacred container to get the work done together

Each strand woven into the basket comes together to carry what's needed

Are you seeking culturally relevant healing programs?

Healing for Front-line Workers: Helpers who work day-in and day-out to care for those who need it most are often at risk of burnout. A nourishing environment to receive solidarity, encouragement and support to cope with the demands of carrying communities on their shoulders can provide welcome connection, rest, rejuvenation and an opportunity to deepen skills.

Grief and Loss: It can be hard to go through the loss of a loved one- especially if it was traumatic, unexpected or stigmatized (suicide, opioid crisis, violence). Maybe, you’ve had several losses in a short period of time, or been present when these deaths occurred. Navigating the waters of grief is a skill. You can learn to float amidst the depths, surf the waves, and swim along the current.

Trauma Recovery:  When tragedy strikes, it's important to come together. Crisis doesn’t last forever, even when it feels like it in the moment. Looking to the cycles of nature, chaos comes before renewal. At some point, the storm ends. Flowers bloom.
